Our weekend was so good! One of my favorites this year...
Friday: After Molly and I got home from work and daycare, she kept walking in her room and pointing to her crib. So I put her in there, and she was happy as can be. She obviously just wanted to play in there, so I gave her the princess castle and left her in there (while watching on the monitor) for a good 20 minutes while she played. So random!!! Guess she needed some alone time!
After dinner, Ryan came home and bathed her (ladies, do your husbands bathe your kids like this with their feet in the tub? I think it's so funny.)
Later, Molly enjoyed some Mickey Mouse before going to bed with Lambie.
Saturday: When Molly woke up, I fed her breakfast, and then we walked outside to play for a bit while Ryan was sleeping. (He didn't sleep long because she started knocking on our bedroom window right away, saying "dada!!").
Later, we got dressed and went to downtown McKinney for breakfast! We rarely go out just the three of us (we're usually lazy at home or we meet up with people when we go out), so this was a special treat!
We ate at a super-cute breakfast place called Spoons, and Molly actually ate her breakfast!!! I was so proud! Lately, she's been so picky and not wanting to eat what we put in front of her, but that day she scarfed it down. YAY!
Later, we just walked around the town square had a fun little time chasing Molly everywhere :)
When we got home, Molly took a big nap, and then we went over to Mom's house to celebrate Jaxon's 2nd birthday! It was a Mickey Mouse theme which Molly loved (of course). Everything looked so cute, and everyone was having a great time in the pool!
We finally joined in the swimming fun, and Molly loved both the big pool and the kiddie pool. And, she looked SO DANG CUTE in her swimsuit! I just can't handle it sometimes.
Later, we got dressed again and ate some yummy dinner together and visited with everyone while the kids played, and Jaxon opened his presents.
Then it was time for CAKE! Jaxon did great blowing out his candles, and obviously Molly enjoyed the cupcakes.
By the time we finished cleaning up ALL that red icing, it was time to go. But Grammy wouldn't let us leave until she could read Molly a few books :)
Such a fun night! Molly was WIPED out.
Sunday: This whole morning and day was spent chilling out and relaxing. It was so nice! I barely got Molly dressed in pajamas later in the day.
Later that night, Mom came over to watch Molly so Ryan and I could have a date night! We ate dinner at McAlisters, then we went and saw Star Trek in 3D! It was some much needed quality time for us.
When we got home, Molly was conked OUT. Love it. So sweet.
All in all, a very very very wonderful weekend. :)
