2012 hodgepodge

• i'm back at work today after 3 months of maternity leave! it's very strange. it feels like i've been gone for FOREVER and then at the same time it feels like i never left. it's really good to see all my friends. it's also a totally fresh start because i'm starting a WHOLE new position! now to just get my brain wrapped around everything...
• everyone is asking me if i'm doing okay (i think they thought i'd be crying all day, but since molly has been going to part-time daycare for a few weeks, i'm really fine!) it's more of the anxiety of starting a whole new job rather than being gone from molly right now. i know she's in great hands, and i have some cute pictures of her to look at in my cube :)
  
  
• new years eve was spent very low-key at home. we stayed in, ate pizza, i drank wine, ryan had a couple drinks, and we played with molly. we celebrated the new year with NYC at 11pm because we're old! we got a good new years kiss though :)
  
• ryan's friend willis & his wife brandi are coming to stay with us this weekend (thurs-sun), and we're so excited to see them! it'll be interesting having house guests, a baby and all the animals to take care of. haha
  
• so, my computer never got shut off after i left on 10/5, so it was really funny to see all my work IMs and the windows that i had up right before i left for that dr. appt. where i ended up getting induced!!! oh, how life has changed since then!
• um that's really it for right now. just wanted to do a little update!!! hope everyone has had a great start to 2012!!!
