Molly is 13 weeks old today!
Tomorrow she will be officially 3 months old! Ah, I have a 3-month-old baby! Growing too fast!
Milestones: She has really good head/neck control, and she's continuing to put pressure on her legs when I hold her in a "standing" position on my lap. I ordered one of those jumperoos, and it'll be delivered tomorrow! I can't wait to see her jumping away in it...I think she'll LOVE it! She's starting to drool a bit more and continues to eat her hand a lot, so we're thinking teething is right around the corner. She's also grabbing things more intentionally, so there's another reason the jumperoo is going to be fun for her.
Feeding: She's now eating 4 ounces every 3 hours. She's not eating much in her middle-of-the-night feeding, so I'm hoping this means she may be getting close to sleeping through the night without needing a feeding!!! Crossing my fingers!
Behavior: She's finally over the stupid cold she had, so she's back to her happy self! She's starting to understand the meaning of "attention", so if Ryan and I aren't looking at her while she's playing, she'll make little noises or little fake cries until we start playing with her again. Oh gosh, it's starting :) Also, she's turning into quite the "daddy's girl". He has about a 99% success rate of getting a smile or coo.
She still loves bath time, and we're getting close to introducing toys in the bath!
Sleep: She started back at daycare on Monday, but this time she is full-time (7:20am-5:20pm). She is pretty worn out at the end of the day, so she's sleeping better! I think with me going back to work and having the same routine every day, she's going to get on even more of a schedule which is a good thing :) She sleeps anywhere from 4-6 hours in her first big stretch starting at 10pm, and then sleeps for another 1-3 hours after that and gets up at 7pm when I wake her up. She's still sleeping in the pack 'n play next to our bed, so now that I'm back at work, Ryan and I take turns sleeping next to her and feeding her in the middle of the night. So, at least we get a good night's sleep every other night. It's working well so far.
Clothes: She's wearing 3-month clothes pretty consistently, and she's filling out her 3-6 month stuff, too. Ryan and I got a few new long-sleeved shirts for her at Target the other day, and we were shocked that even the 12-month tops looked like they'd fit her!
A lot of the 3-month and 6-month tops looked too small for her "buddha belly" :) We bought a few to just test them out. Baby sizing is so weird.

Favorite Moments: I've been playing a little game with her where I just kiss all over her face, and she just laughs (we think it's a laugh) and opens her mouth really wide. Even if she's crying, she still opens her mouth when I come in for the kiss. It is the CUTEST thing ever, and she's done that ever since she was born. Also, I love the moments in the mornings after I've gotten ready and it's time to wake her up. I open up her swaddle and watch as she just stretches and makes funny noises for a while. Then I pick her up and she snuggles all over me while I take her to her room to get changed. Then on the changing table, she's still groggy and stretchy, but super smiley. It's so precious.
Most Challenging: Obviously, going back to work this week and trying to get used to our new "normal". It just makes the weekends that much sweeter!
Looking Forward To: Same as last week---getting her to laugh and sleep more!

Titus is exactly one month older than Molly, and he LOVES that jumperoo! His little feet barely hit the floor, but he is content to play there for at least 10-15 minutes.
As a working mama who went back 6 weeks after baby, I can agree that the weekends are definitely that much sweeter! And it makes the weeks fly by too!
baby sizing is so crazy! it all just depends on the store and if they run big or small...old navy for example runs really small it seems to me.
weekends are awesome when you are a working mommy! and when you go back to work you just appreciate every second with your little one!
