weekend wrap-up in bullets

• i'm really tired. it's a dark, rainy, cold monday... i forgot how hard mondays are :) i'm really missing the ability to curl back up in bed and let molly mommy sleep for a couple more hours before we leisurely wake up around 11 :) ah, the life of a working mom!
  
  
  WHY are my iPhone pictures grainy sometimes?!?
• the weekend was so nice. willis & brandi came to town on thursday, and we met up with them at blue goose for some yummy queso & mexican food. they had plans for the rest of the weekend, so we chilled out on friday night and got to share breakfast at home with them on saturday before they left to go back to kansas. it was a nice, but short visit! 
• we literally chilled all day long on saturday. so nice. i drank a bunch of coffee and watched dvr'ed shows while ryan napped (he had had the night shift on friday night, and it was rough!) 
• saturday night we met up with dad, dawn & jon at outback. i ate way too much. it was fun though.
  
  
• sunday, we FINALLY made it to church as a family! we got molly set up in the nursery and lucked out by having the mother of one of the girls i grew up with show us where to go and get us all registered. the newborn nursery was dim and had a circle of rocking chairs with sweet grandma-looking women taking care of the babies. i felt totally comfortable leaving molly there. they gave us a pager just in case, but they didn't have to use it! when we picked molly up, she was just chilling in a swing, happy as can be! yay!
  

• after church, we went to lunch at whiskey cake, and i had the most amazing pancakes of my life.
  
  
• then we came home and got in our pj's and hung out all day. molly took a 2.5-hour nap (!) which gave us a lot of relaxation time... perfect sunday!
• sunday night, we met up with our friends at benihana to celebrate steph & kristin's 28th birthdays! as always, we had a blast. (pics to come)
• after this weekend, i've come to 2 conclusions: weekends are definitely sweeter now that i'm back at work AND i need to eat better :)
