weekend wrap-up

Friday:
We stayed in and just watched tv and vegged out. We did a lot of that this weekend :) I can't even remember what we ate...leftovers? I think...Ryan had Molly duty that night, which leads me to....

Saturday:
I got to sleep for 10.5 hours!!!!!!! Ryan is the BEST husband for letting me sleep. It was wonderful. Oh my. I'm jealous of myself just thinking about it now. We spent the day at home together, and I don't even think we left the house once.

I drank lots of cups of coffee in my pajamas, and Mom came over to "give Molly a hug". She actually brought us some McAllisters for lunch, and we ended up visiting for a while, which was a nice surprise. Always great to see Mom. She rocked Molly to sleep before her nap, which I think both of them loved :)

That afternoon, I tried a recipe I found on pinterest, and it was delicious! It was only good while hot though. I tried a bite later in the afternoon, and BLECH.

That night, Molly didn't sleep well, which meant I didn't sleep well...(she's still totally unpredictable when it comes to sleep)...But we were determined to go to church the next day!!!!

Sunday:
We went to church despite the bad night before, and it was great to see our class as well as feel like grown ups dropping our child off in the nursery :) She looked so sweet in her new outfit.

 

After church, we met up with Ashley & Ellory (who were in town for the weekend) for lunch at Whiskey Cake! It was so great to visit with them for a little while before they headed back to Austin.

That afternoon, Molly took a good nap, and Ryan & I watched Moneyball on OnDemand. I think I would have liked it if I didn't sleep through 20-30 minutes of it while snuggled on the couch :) That evening, I played with Molly while Ryan cooked dinner, and then we watched the Giants vs. 49ers game (yawn..wish I liked football as much as my husband).

I sneaked off to watch Once Upon a Time for a while before bathing Molly and calling it a night! Great weekend!
