What a wonderful weekend we just had!!! And, to know that this week will be short due to Thanksgiving, it makes this Monday not as hard as the others :)
Friday:
I got off work early and picked up Molly. Normally, I'd use that non-baby time to run errands or something, but I just missed her! Apparently she felt the same way because as I was putting her in the car, she just laughed and laughed as I kissed her. It was such a cute "hello" :) I took her with me to the grocery store, and every time I'd stop for too long, she'd sway her body back and forth like she was saying "come on!!"
That evening, I fed her dinner while watching tv in the living room, and she was just a doll.
Then, she helped me get ready to go out for a night with the girls!!!
That night, I met up with Steph and Cat to see Breaking Dawn 2!!!! We had reserved seats at SMG so we didn't have to wait in any crazy lines! I enjoyed some delicious popcorn with candy while they ate actual dinner :) We LOVED seeing the movie together!
Then, since we were still having fun, we decided to go to Chili's for (what else?) the molten chocolate lava cake. It was probably the 100th one I've had in my lifetime. It was GOOD!
It was such a great night out with my girls. Much needed!I didn't even get home until 11, which is CRAZY for me :)
Saturday:
Molly didn't sleep in as much as we'd liked (especially since I didn't go to bed until midnight)! So I was a bit groggy in the morning, but we still had fun in our pj's. We all just sat around and played all day, which was nice and relaxing. Then after Molly's nap, we went to coffee with my great friend Brett! Took a few pictures before leaving :)
Molly and I met up with Brett at a nearby Starbucks, and it was SO GREAT to see her!!! She's one of my dear friends from high school, and I'm so glad we've kept in touch. She had never met Molly before, so it was a special introduction! Love her so much.
Molly obviously felt comfortable with her, too. She just laid back, ate her snacks and put her feet up on the table. Awesome.
That evening, Molly and I picked up Ryan, and we went out for a family dinner at Roadhouse! It was super crowded but the food was delicious, and we had a great time together. Love our little family unit.
Sunday:
We stayed home and did nothing all day. It was so nice to just chill out in our pj's and watch tv and play with Molly. Sometimes days like that are my favorite. We did finally get dressed later in the day, and we played outside in the backyard for a bit. Molly loved walking around and enjoying the fresh air.
It was one of "those" moments where I wanted to pause time and just stay there for a while longer. Loving these fall days and sweet times.
That night Ryan's parents came over and enjoyed dinner with us. Molly loved seeing her grandparents and riding around in the box that our take-out food came in! ha :)
Hope y'all had a great weekend, too!
