Stats: She's around 25 pounds. No idea how tall she is but we'll find out at her well check appointment in a couple weeks! Her hair is getting so long, and I'm having fun experimenting with little styles!

Clothes: Still
wearing 18-month clothes pretty well. Size 4 diapers. She's up to size 4.5
wide in shoes. She only wore her size 4 shoes for a month! grrrrrr

Milestones/Development: Her brain is developing so quickly!!! For the most part, she understand what we tell her to do, and she does it! Also, if you show her how to use a toy ONE time, she immediately picks it up and can remember how to do it forever. It's crazy. She also obviously sees how we do things, and she imitates us! Whether it's hugging her baby, carrying her purse, pushing her stroller, talking on the iphone, brushing her hair, she's definitely turning into her own little mini-me :)

She also knows that clothes go on her head, shoes and socks go on her feet, and scarves go around her neck. So cute!

She understands when we tell her to "go eat" (walks to her highchair), "go night night" (walks to her room), "go change your diaper" (walks to her room), "give me that please" (walks over and hands me whatever she shouldn't have), "no ma'am, don't go in there", "go find your baby", "give your baby kisses", "go get your milk", "get your snack cup", "splash" in the bathtub, "bouce", "dance".

She's so curious and always points to things and asks, "ssssat?" (Aka "what's that?") When we're out to eat, she rarely looks at us because she's turned around in her seat watching everyone around her.

What She Loves: She has started to LOVE hugs, which I just couldn't be happier about. She also gives her baby kisses and hugs, and she carries it everywhere. She loves her new kitchen and just being with us at home. It's so nice!

She loves getting to go in our bedroom. This is usually off limits, so when she can go in, she absolutely loves exploring and making a mess. She takes books off my nightstand shelves, she plays in my makeup, she takes all the bracelets off my shelf in the bathroom and puts them on her wrist, she plays with the toilet paper, etc. She LOVES it in there. It's her own personal playground of things to mess with!
Speaking of messes, I think it's her life's mission to create a mess everywhere she goes. We've started calling her Hurricane Molly. No joke, I think it unsettles her when she walks into a just-cleaned room. She immediately goes to the nearest basket and unloads all of her toys and/or takes every book off the shelves just to make it feel like home :) Anything she CAN get into, she WILL.

She LOVES reading, too. I always get nervous when it gets quiet, and she's not in my eye-line, but 100% of that time, she's simply reading a book by herself. Love it.

She also LOVES playing with Daddy.

This video pretty much sums up how we spent Christmas break. She could do this for hours and hours if we'd let her. Ryan gets pretty exhausted though :)
What She Hates: She still hates getting her face cleaned after meals, and she hates seeing us eating something without being able to join in. She's still not a fan of diaper changes. She of course doesn't like it when we take things away from her (cell phone, remote control, etc.).

Sleep/Food: She's still sleeping 7pm-7am which is just wonderful. We of course love spending time with her, but we're really cherishing our quiet evenings together after she goes "night night". She naps from 12pm to 2-3pm every day which is also nice.

She eats pretty much anything. I can't think of much that she doesn't like, so that's nice! ALSO, she ate with a spoon for the first time over Christmas break, and it's looking like she's left-handed (at least when she eats). So that should be interesting!

Challenges: This has been the month of timeouts. Definitely challenging. She's had a really rough few weeks at daycare with just testing her boundaries. She hasn't been so bad at home LATELY, but we'll see. She's definitely getting the idea that disobedience isn't going to fly around here :) I know this is only the first of many rough times where disciplining will be a challenge.
