Our girl is cracking us up and melting our hearts lately, and I don't want to forget (shocking), so here's my top 10 favorite things about molly right now. This may become a regular thing...

She loves her Tuxie cat. Probably because he tolerates her laying all over him. Poor Queso just runs away any time Molly tries to get close enough :)

Her soft & chunky legs, arms, feet and cheeks. I could kiss them all.the.time if it wouldn't annoy her. I really think the girl has gotten more than a million kisses in her life already. There's just no stopping them.

She loves talking to people on speakerphone, and her little chubby hand waving at them (even though they can't see) just about kills me. Wish I had a picture of this to share.

She loves trying on our shoes. If we make the mistake of leaving them out, she WILL try to wear them.

This might be a weird one to call a "favorite", but I love that our girl
understands timeouts and very rarely makes the same mistake twice. It's
so hard to discipline and stay consistent, but it's totally paying off.
My favorite part... After she's calmed down, I walk over and get on her
level and explain what she did wrong that put her in timeout, and she
looks at me with this serious face and says something (obviously I can't
understand yet), but I like to pretend she's saying "okay mommy, I'm
sorry". And then she gives me a hug and goes off to play.

When I pick her up from daycare...I open the door and she's standing
their with her mouth in a big wide-open smile, and says "HA!!!!!" Then I
pick her up and talk a little with Tracy & Nate, and she lays her
head on my shoulder. Melt my heart.

She is starting to pick up after herself. Oh my goodness, this is amazing!!! She found a couple wicker balls (that belong in a big bowl by the tv) on two separate occasions, and she KNEW they were out of place, and she KNEW where to walk them over and put them back. She's getting so smart! You better believe we praised her like she'd achieved world peace so she'd get the message :)

She's starting to give me kisses. Our girl was late to the showing affection game for whatever reason (maybe too curious and not wanting to take the time for hugs, kisses and snuggles?), but now sometimes when I say "can I have some kisses?" she opens her mouth really big and plants one. She also sees me sitting on the floor, she walks over to me and backs her little booty up until she's sitting in my lap. Precious!

So how did you teach her to go on a time out? Hayes understands a lot of commands but I don't think that he would get a time out. How did you introduce it to her?
