It was just too nice outside to pass up, so right after getting home from daycare, Molly and I went on a walk around the neighborhood. She was such a ham! I just listened to hear point out everything she could see: clouds, leaves, sky, moon, sun, house, trees, etc. She had a blast picking up leaves from the sidewalk and putting them in the grass. So funny. She just loved running ahead of me and exploring her surroundings. Such a fun evening together!
She even tried her hand at jump roping...not so successful. But still cute.
Sweet girl then helped pick up the mail :) Then we ate some snacks and watched Cinderella together while we waited on Ryan to bring home pizza for dinner. YUM.
The next morning, Ryan let me sleep in a little bit which was so nice. Then Molly and I had some "tea time" with her doll Molly. It was too cute.
Then I saddled up and made some chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. It was nice to just sit and drink my latte while Molly and Ryan watched cartoons :)
That morning, we just chilled out around the house and stayed in our pj's. (Or diaper, in Molly's case.)
Then after Molly's nap that afternoon, we got dressed and went to the park! It couldn't have been more gorgeous outside. It was the perfect day for playing!
After the park, we went to Blue Goose for a yummy Mexican dinner. Molly did GREAT again, and I just can't get over how much fun it is to take her out to eat in public again! She even stopped and danced every now and then because the music was super fun :) We devoured chips, queso, tortillas, fajitas, and Molly loved her quesadillas and guacamole (her favorite). Win!
Molly and I played around the house while Ryan slept in a bit. She loved watching cartoons from her tent :) And she just had fun coloring, playing with her doll and reading books.
I did about 6 loads of laundry which was NOT what I wanted to do, but it had to be done. Ryan went to church, and we stayed home since I'm trying to minimize Molly getting the flu!! While Molly napped, I did more laundry and hung out with this guy...(HE NEVER CUDDLES. This was a big deal.)
When Molly woke up, we took a family trip to the grocery store. I asked Ryan to get her ready since I was getting dressed, and he picked out this all-pink outfit. I think we have a Daddy's girl :)
The grocery store run took longer than anticipated but we got a lot of stuff to prepare us for the week! After unloading the groceries and handling even MORE laundry, we bathed Molly put her to bed a smidgen early, so I could cuddle up and watch the Golden Globes on tv :) All in all, a WONDERFUL, easygoing, laid-back, beautiful weekend with my favorite people. Happy Monday!
